Sweet Georgia Pam is a highly sensitive spiritual director specializing in dreams. It was her personal dark night of the soul that lead her to discover dream work as a tool for facing one’s inner shadows. She has practiced dream work with clients for the past 10 years. During that time she led numerous dream groups in Atlanta including one that drew in 80 interested members and met for four years in small groups monthly. It was her journey through dreams that led her on the spiritual path back to Catholicism and contemplative prayer practices.
Pam realized that dream work, which can trigger deeply stirring moments of vulnerability, must be couched in the safe environment of spiritual direction.
The combination of exploring the playful language of dreams while honoring the dignity of a person’s relationship to God is a powerful way to help people make great strides in their spiritual and personal development.
In 2016, Pam became a certified spiritual director through the Haden Institute. Now, she shares practical guidance on working with your dreams by speaking and teaching locally, posting on her blog, and offering dream coaching and spiritual direction to individuals.
She serves a wide spectrum of clients from Catholic and Christian faithful to the “spiritual but not religious” (aka None’s) to those specifically interested in the psychology of dreams. Pam is also a repeat guest on B98.5 FM’s morning radio show. She is a creative, playful and sweet spiritual leader who invites us all to look at dreams with a new curiosity and child-like wonder.
